Caramelized BeetsAdd To My Recipes
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 package Gefen Organic Beets
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons Bartenura Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Tuscanini Balsamic Vinegar
salt, to taste
greens, for garnish
2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
1 tablespoon Bartenura Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Galilee's Delicacy Date Syrup
salt, for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
On a baking sheet, toss sweet potatoes with silan, oil, and salt. Bake for 30 minutes.
Place red onion in a baking pan. Top with beets and drizzle with sugar, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with salt and toss to combine. Bake for 25 minutes.
Serve beets over sweet potatoes. Garnish with greens if desired.
