Glazed Sweet PotatoesAdd To My Recipes
2 and 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes, 7-8 medium, unpeeled
1/2 cup Haddar Brownulated Sugar
2 ounces margarine
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cook sweet potatoes in water until tender. Peel and cut into half-inch slices, then place onto cookie sheet.
In a large skillet, mix remaining ingredients.
Cook over medium heat for half an hour.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pour the glaze over sweet potatoes.
Bake for 15 minutes.
This recipe can be prepared ahead of time. Refrigerate after cooking and bake prior to serving.
