Lightly Marinated SalmonAdd To My Recipes
4 quarts water
6 onions, sliced
3 cups sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Gefen Table Salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons pepper
3/4 cup lemon juice
8 bay leaves
1 tablespoon Gefen Garlic Powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons allspice (optional)
25 slices salmon
Lightly Marinated Salmon
Place onions in net boiling bag.
Place water, sugar, lemon juice, seasonings, and the net bag in large fish pot or double roaster pan. Over two flames, bring marinade ingredients to a low boil, then lower and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add fish slices, cover, and simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
Cook additional broth and slices according to need.
