Lemon Marinated FishAdd To My Recipes
3 onions, sliced
2 cups sugar
12 slices salmon
3 cups water
1 ounce bay leaves
2 tablespoons Pereg Whole Black Pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup lemon juice
Prepare the Fish
Place onions and sugar in a six- to eight-quart pot. Cook over low heat until caramelized.
Add fish and remaining ingredients.
Cook for 40 minutes. Cool thoroughly and remove bay leaves and peppercorns.
Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
