Ingredients
4 cups crushed Yehuda Matzo
1 teaspoon Gefen Table Salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper (optional)
4 eggs
1/3 cup Gefen Cottonseed Oil or chicken fat
3–4 cups boiling water
dried cranberries, for topping (optional)
pistachios, for topping (optional)
Matzo Farfel
Directions
Crumble matzo to farfel-size pieces.
In large bowl, beat eggs, salt and pepper.
Add crumbled matzo and combine.
Heat oil in skillet and fry matzo farfel for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add water.
Cook, covered, for 25 minutes or until water is absorbed.
